A private ledger beside your groups. Spending by category, budgets, loans and repeating bills, with bank messages and statements turned into entries you review.
In the Waves phone app. Entries, voice, pasted bank messages and statement import work on iPhone and Android.
Reading your inboxAndroid only
Reading bank messages on their own is Android only, opt-in, and switched on for some people first. Everywhere else, you paste the message.
Sign inAccount
Your personal ledger needs a signed-in account. A guest session cannot be signed back into, so there is nowhere to keep it.
See it in action
Short loops, start to finish.
A bank message is read on your phone, turned into an expense, and waits in Review until you confirm it.

Six months of earned against spent, and a month you can step through
Income, spending and what was left over, which is not the same as saved
One currency at a time: nothing is converted, and entries in other currencies are listed as left out

Bills and income that come back
Rent, subscriptions, salary: set it once and it comes back on schedule.
Weekly, fortnightly, twice a month, monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, yearly or every N months, with an optional end date
Add automatically when the app opens, or just be shown what is due and add it with a tap
Missed months are caught up without duplicates, and a figure you changed by hand is never overwritten
A month-by-month view of each one: received, missed, expected or due

Bank messages
A bank message becomes an entry
Paste a bank message and Waves reads the amount, the merchant and the date for you to check.
Works on every phone: copy the message, paste it, tick what to add
Read on your phone, with no network. The message text is not sent anywhere
Ticked rows wait in Review as drafts; nothing is saved until you confirm
On Android, where it is switched on, Waves can read the inbox itself after a clear explanation and your permission
Reading the inbox is Android only and is not on for everyone yet.

A whole statement in one go

Rows whose balance does not add up are flagged
Ticked rows go to Review as drafts, and nothing is saved until you confirm
Account numbers are hidden before any AI reads a page, and a PDF password stays on your phone
Free: read on your phone and previewed twice a month. Pro: import up to 30 statements a month.

New accounts start with a free Pro trial. Prices are set by the app stores for each country, so none is shown here.
Private to you
Your personal ledger sits apart from your groups. Here is what the app does, and no more.
Not shared with groups
The Me tab says it plainly: private to you, not shared with groups. Only a loan you choose to share reaches another person.
Sealed on your phone
The saved copy on your device is encrypted at rest with a key held in the phone's secure keystore, and signing out wipes it.
Tied to your account
Entries sync to your account so they survive a lost phone. The server stores them without reading them. We do not claim end-to-end encryption.
Messages stay on the phone
Bank messages are parsed on your device. The text of messages read from your inbox is not kept, synced or sent for analytics.
Statements are trimmed first
Names, addresses and ids are left out and account numbers are masked before any AI reads a statement. A PDF password is used on your phone only, and nothing is kept.
Receipts are yours alone
Receipt photos live in a private bucket where only you are given access, and are deleted with the entry.
